Student and two GMCH temporary staff arrested for allegedly supplying painkiller tablets and anaesthesia drugs to students.

Police arrested three persons including a student and two temporary staff of the Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH) for selling pain killing tablets and anesthesia used for surgery to students for use as intoxicants, at Pudukkottai on Sunday.
Police made the arrests after a detailed probe. The three were remanded in judicial custody.
Following this, the management of the GMCH suspended its two temporary employees.
