The once-profitable courier and logistics service run by the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has now fallen into disarray. The situation arose after the project's operations were handed over last year to Andhra-based company Sinku Solutions, pushing the service toward a possible shutdown.

According to reports, employees have been instructed not to accept new bookings, as the contract with the private company is likely to be cancelled. They have also been told to only complete deliveries for bookings already taken.

The courier and logistics service had been successfully run by trained KSRTC employees since 2023. However, during former minister Ganesh Kumar's tenure, the service's operations were handed over to Andhra-based Sinku Solutions in September last year. The company was appointed for a five-year term through a tender process on a commission basis.
