45-year-old Indian man wins Rs 35 cr lottery in Dubai, plans to share winnings with friends

Winning a lottery held in Abu Dhabi, a 45-year-old Indian man turned his fortunes overnight winning almost Rs 35 crore.

Rajesh Mullankil Vellilapullithodi, originally from the Indian state of Kerala, was residing in Oman from the past 33 years. Working as a technician in the Arab country, he regularly used to enter the lucky draw.

On March 31, he entered the draw through online.

After years of perseverance, luck finally struck his doors as he won the latest Big Ticket raffle draw winning 15 million Dirham, translating into Rs 34.88 crore (approximately).
"I can't even put my emotions into words. I was so happy and shocked when I got the call. Just five minutes before, my friend asked me to check, but I never imagined I would actually win," Rajesh was quoted by a popular media house.
Continuing further, he revealed he did not make any firm future plans yet, but he disclosed his intention to share the money with his friends.
