Mangaluru: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain and thundershowers at isolated places along the coastal districts of Karnataka over the next few days.
According to the forecast, Dakshina Kannada district is likely to receive light rain or thundershowers at one or two places on May 6.
Rain activity is expected to pick up slightly on May 7, with Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts likely to receive light to moderate rain or thundershowers at isolated places. One or two places in Uttara Kannada may also witness light rain or thundershowers during this period.
On May 8 and 9, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at one or two places across all three coastal districts—Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada.
