Three Killed in State Bus-Bike Collision in Belagavi

Belagavi: Three youths were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a government bus in this district, police said on Tuesday.

The incident occurred on the outskirts of Savadatti town of Belagavi district on Monday night.

According to police, the three youths were returning home on the motorcycle when the accident occurred.

The corporation bus was travelling from Savadatti towards Dharwad, while the motorcycle was heading towards Savadatti. The two vehicles collided, leaving all three youths dead on the spot.

Savadatti police visited the accident site and conducted an inspection. Further investigation is underway.
