Three Held, 15 Stolen Bikes Worth Rs 11.29 Lakh Recovered in Raichur

The Superintendent of Police has commended the officers and personnel involved in detecting the case and recovering the stolen vehicles

Raichur: Netajinagar police have arrested three persons and recovered 15 stolen motorcycles worth Rs 11.29 lakh while investigating a bike theft case reported in Raichur city.

The arrests were made in connection with the theft of a Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 motorcycle belonging to Narayan Rathod. Rathod had filed a complaint with the Netajinagar Police stating that his bike had been stolen from in front of the Ambedkar Hostel in Raichur between May 21 and May 25. The police who registered a case launched an investigation.

During the probe, a special police team arrested three persons identified as Anjinayya, Karthik and Akash.

Based on information gathered during questioning, the team recovered 15 motorcycles valued at about Rs 11.29 lakh.

The operation was carried out by a team led by West Circle Inspector Umesh Kamble under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Arunangshu Giri, Additional Superintendents of Police SJ Kumaraswamy and G Harish, and Raichur Sub-Division Deputy Superintendent of Police Shantaveera.

The Superintendent of Police has commended the officers and personnel involved in detecting the case and recovering the stolen vehicles.
