Sources at Nandi Hills told Deccan Chronicle visitors gather in huge numbers with their vehicles much early before the road is opened to reach the hilltop eager to catch sunrise at hilltop. The number of vehicles to the hills is such that it takes a couple of hours to reach the hilltop.

Considering the huge influx of visitors to Nandi Hills, the source said “It is a good idea to regulate vehicles and also expedite the ropeway project.”
