Mangalore Police Destroys 21.320 kg Ganja, 60g MDMA in Crackdown on Drug Menace
The disposal took place at Re-Sustainability Healthcare Solutions Ltd. in the Kolnadu Industrial Area, Mulki, following court approval.

Mangaluru: In a significant move against the drug menace, the Mangaluru City Police on Wednesday destroyed 21.320 kg ganja and 60 gram MDMA, as part of their ongoing crackdown on the sale, transport, and consumption of illegal substances.
The disposal took place at Re-Sustainability Healthcare Solutions Ltd. in the Kolnadu Industrial Area, Mulki, following court approval. The drugs were linked to 23 cases registered across nine police stations under the Mangaluru City Police Commissionerate.
So far in 2025, the city police have registered 40 cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and arrested 67 individuals.
The total value of narcotics seized this year stands at Rs 1,36,35,650. The haul includes 145.324 kg of ganja, 319.976 grams of MDMA, 13 grams of MDMA pills, 756.52 grams of hydro weed ganja, and other synthetic substances.
In January, police had incinerated a large haul of drugs.
