The armed forces carried out ‘Operation Sindhoor’ to eliminate terror groups in Pakistan over the killing of 25 tourists by terrorists at Pahalgam in April last year.
Hariprasad questioned the Bharatiya Janata Party led Union Government over non-disclosure of the outcome of 'secret' meetings with Pakistan. According to Hariprasad, the ‘secret’ meeting by Ram Madhav with Pakistan’s ISI former Major-General held meetings in London and Colombo of Sri Lanka.
Hariprasad sought answers from the RSS leader “who engaged him for the ‘secret’ meeting with Pakistan?” before he arrives in Bengaluru to supervise and work out strategy for the success of BJP nominees for the ensuing elections to Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) having 5 City Corporations to work out strategy for the success of Bharatiya Janata Party nominees.
“He is not a Minister of External Affairs or an MLA or a Member of Parliament. Just by being a RSS leader who gave the power to hold meetings with Pakistan,” said the KPCC President at a seminar held at party headquarters in Bengaluru where he questioned the Union Government.
He asked the Centre “Why was the outcome of the 'secret' meeting with Pakistan not disclosed before the people of the country?” and recalled when the Congress party was in power at the Centre had shut the doors for talks with Pakistan until terrorism is uprooted completely.
In times of elections, he said, BJP leaders take out Pakistan, Hijab, Mangalasutra, Hallal among other issues to evoke sentiments of the people.
