Heavy Rain Likely in Coastal Karnataka This Week: IMD
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada districts over the next four days.
Mangaluru: Coastal Karnataka districts are likely to experience another spell of heavy showers this week, according to the weather bulletin issued on Tuesday.

For August 27 (Wednesday), heavy rain is expected at one or two places in all three coastal districts- Udupi, Uttara Kannada and Dakshina Kannada, accompanied by gusty winds in some pockets. A similar forecast has been issued for August 28, 29, and 30, with the possibility of heavy downpour in isolated areas across the region.
Squally weather with wind speeds reaching 40–50 kmph, gusting up to 60 kmph, is likely to prevail along and off the Karnataka coast from August 26 to 29.
