Gang Attacks Public Without Provocation In Two Locations In Bengaluru
Four accused persons have been identified and 3 teams have been constituted to nab the accused persons: Police
BENGALURU: A gang of about 7 persons on bikes attacked a couple of persons with matchette and long first near Circle Maramma Temple in Hosahalli under Subramanyapura police station limits of Bengaluru city on Sunday evening at around 9 pm and in other instance of attack by the same gang, two persons came under attack near Arehalli Arch.
Police are yet to ascertain the motive behind the two attacks while preliminary investigations revealed the attack took place without provocation.
A gang descended at Circle Maramma Temple on bikes and attacked Kiran and his friends with a machete and with a long machete fled from the scene. Kiran sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment at a hospital while his friend has been discharged from the hospital. The attack on them took place all of sudden.
The same gang then moved towards Arehalli Arch and attacked two persons identified as Raju and Ravi standing near a fish stall and attacked them with the weapons. After the attack, the gang escaped from the spot.
Police said four accused persons have been identified and 3 teams have been constituted to nab the accused persons. Police exuded confidence to make the arrests soon. Subramanya police are on the lookout for the accused persons involved in the attack at two locations.
