CM to Launch Rs 1,775-Crore Development Works In Kalyana Karnataka

KALABURAGI: Chief Minister DK Shivakumar will launch development works worth Rs 1,775.41 crore during his visit to Kalaburagi for the Kalyana Karnataka Utsav, Minister Priyank Kharge said on Wednesday.
The projects cover all seven districts of the Kalyana Karnataka region, with the Chief Minister scheduled to lay the foundation stones for 557 works costing Rs 1,071.56 crore and inaugurate 244 works worth Rs 703.85 crore.
In Kalaburagi district alone, 223 works worth Rs 1,105.63 crore are included in the programme.
Speaking to reporters, Kharge said that on Thursday the Chief Minister would garland the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at SVP Circle at 8.30 am before hoisting the national flag at the Police Parade Grounds as part of the Kalyana Karnataka Utsav. He will then address the people of the region.
