BJP Can Win Big If Leaders Unite, Says Bommai
“There are no permanent enemies in politics. In my view, there are no enemies, only competitors. It is good that leaders come together and work in unity. If the BJP moves forward unitedly and speaks in one voice, it can certainly achieve a massive victory.
Haveri: Amid signs of a possible thaw in the BJP's internal differences following the meeting between expelled MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal and state president BY Vijayendra, Haveri MP and former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Wednesday said the party could win a massive victory if its leaders and workers united and spoke in one voice.
Speaking to reporters in Haveri, Bommai said political rivals need not remain enemies and welcomed the meeting as a positive development.
“There are no permanent enemies in politics. In my view, there are no enemies, only competitors. It is good that leaders come together and work in unity. If the BJP moves forward unitedly and speaks in one voice, it can certainly achieve a massive victory. This is the opinion of all of us and the party workers as well,” he said.
Bommai expressed hope that more such developments would take place in the coming days.
