ZP High School Student Selected for All-girls Space Project
Education department officials said the achievement reflected the opportunities being created for students through the state's education initiatives

Kakinada: Kandula Jessy, a Class X student of Zilla Parishad Girls High School at Dowleswaram in East Godavari district, has been selected among 20 students from India for MissionShakthiSAT, described as the world's first all-girls space project. Jessy is the daughter of a carpenter.
Education department officials said the achievement reflected the opportunities being created for students through the state's education initiatives. They said the reforms introduced by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and education minister N. Lokesh were aimed at ensuring that poverty does not become a barrier to students pursuing their aspirations and excelling at higher levels.
