YSRCP Files Lunch Motion Petition in AP High Court over MPTC, ZPTC Polls

Hyderabad: The YSRCP has filed a lunch motion petition in the Andhra Pradesh High Court over the MPTC and ZPTC elections.
The party alleged that its candidates were being arrested and placed under house arrest. It sought an extension of the nomination deadline by at least 48 hours. The High Court allowed the petition filed by YSRCP MLC Appireddy to be taken up for hearing.
