YSRC spreading lies about AP’s financial condition
Keshav said Jagan Reddy was citing unbelievable and irrational reasons and “does not have the courage to face the assembly.”
Vijayawada:Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav has criticised YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of spreading “lies” about the state’s financial conditions and of the growth during the previous years.
He asserted, “Our government clearly listed the financial damage the state experienced during the YSRC government’s term. We did this with proof, but Jagan Reddy is trying to mislead the public with false claims.”
Keshav said Jagan Reddy was citing unbelievable and irrational reasons and “does not have the courage to face the assembly.”
Regarding Jagan Reddy’s prediction of YSRC winning the next elections and continuing in power for three decades, the minister said the YSRC leader was free to do daydreaming. “Jagan would continue to dream for another 15 years like Rahul Gandhi.”
He said if Jagan Reddy does not dream, “he and the YSRC cadre will not be able to sleep.” Jagan, he said, was trying to calm his mind and instill confidence in the cadre.
Revenue minister Anagani Sathya Prasad has given a strong counter to Jagan Reddy on the latter’s comments against the alliance government. He mocked YS Jagan for his remarks on the CM’s “fraud,” and said such words made all the five crore people of Andhra Pradesh laugh.
The people have not yet forgotten the consequences of Jagan Reddy’s “deceptions” during his five-year tenure and they continue to suffer from the actions he took, the minister added.
The minister criticised Jagan Reddy for allegedly exploiting marginalized communities like the SCs, STs, BCs, and minorities, by “draining their sub-plan funds into his own pockets.”
Sathya Prasad also accused Jagan Reddy of intimidating and driving out the state government employees and tarnishing the reputation of Andhra Pradesh on the international arena. The scandals surrounding companies like Lulu and Kia demonstrated Jagan Reddy's role in tarnishing the state's reputation, he alleged.
