KAKINADA: Cocanada Coastal Sports Club president A. Babji said selections for the club team to participate in the ASMITA South Zone Sub-Junior and Junior Women Hockey League 2026-27 would be held on October 1.
The trials will be conducted at the District Sports Authority Grounds in Kakinada from 11 am. The league is scheduled to be held in Kakinada from October 27 to November 6.
Sub-junior players born after October 1, 2010, and junior players born after October 1, 2007, are eligible to attend the selection trials.
Babji said the tournament carries prize money, which will be transferred directly to eligible winning athletes through DBT by the Sports Authority of India.
