Water Supply to Be Disrupted in Vijayawada on September 1
Residents in the affected areas have been urged to use water judiciously and make necessary arrangements to avoid inconvenience on Monday evening.
Vijayawada: Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) commissioner H.M. Dhyanachandra has announced a scheduled disruption in water supply across several areas of the city on Monday, September 1, 2025.
The disruption will occur in Circle 3 due to electrical maintenance at the raw water intake well supplying the 46 MLD Water Treatment Plant in the 5th Division.
The affected areas include Gunadala (all localities), Machavaram, Karmika Nagar, SRR College Opposite Hill Area, Veterinary Colony, Srinivas Nagar, Bank Colony, Nagarjuna Nagar, Ashok Nagar, Gurunanak Colony, Sai Baba Temple Road, Kamineni Nagar, K.P. Nagar, Postal Colony, APIIC Colony, KDGO Colony, Maruthi Cooperative Colony, Fun Time Road, Vasavi Nagar, Arul Nagar Hill Area, LIC Colony, CTO Colony, Mithila Nagar, Jayaprakash Nagar, Film Colony, ITI Road, Subba Rao Colony, RTC Colony, New P&T Colony, Maruthi Colony, High School Road, Rellies Colony, Pantakalva Road, Tangellamudi Vari Street, Vasavi Colony, Teachers Colony, Achamma Bazaar, Patamata, Yadavula Bazaar, Jyothi Vidyalayam Road, Varalakshmi Nagar, Kanchukota Bazaar, Bank Colony 1 and 2, Acharya Ranga Street, Kreesthurajpuram Hill Area, Vijay Nagar Colony, Society Quarry, Guntur Bapanayya Nagar, and surrounding localities.
