Wasp Attack Injures 18 Schoolchildren in Srikakulam

Vijayawada: Eighteen school students were injured after a swarm of wasps attacked them while they were travelling in two autos near the hillock at Suryanarayanapuram in Laveru mandal of Srikakulam district.
The students were on their way to Tamada Adarsha School when the wasps suddenly attacked them. The children suffered injuries in the incident and were shifted to a hospital for treatment.
MLA Eswar Rao visited the hospital and enquired about the condition of the injured students. He spoke to the students and their families and reviewed the treatment being provided to them.
