VSU Launches Competitive Exams Centre For Students
VSU officials said students must look beyond classroom learning and equip themselves with the skills required to succeed in an increasingly competitive environment
Nellore: Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) on Wednesday inaugurated the Centre for Competitive Examinations on its campus, marking the launch of a new facility aimed at preparing students for state and national-level competitive tests.
The centre, introduced as a New Year initiative for students, is designed to provide structured training, expert guidance and career-oriented mentoring for aspirants seeking opportunities in the government and private sectors.
Speaking on the occasion, VSU officials said students must look beyond classroom learning and equip themselves with the skills required to succeed in an increasingly competitive environment.
Vice-chancellor A. Srinivasa Rao expressed hope that students would make effective use of the facility, perform well in competitive examinations at both State and national levels, and bring recognition to the university.
Registrar Dr K. Sunitha said the centre would offer training by subject experts, detailed orientation on examination patterns, quality study material and regular mock tests. She said the initiative would play a key role in helping students achieve their career goals.
Director of the centre for competitive examinations Dr J. Vijetha said specialised coaching would be provided for examinations such as UPSC, APPSC, SSC, Banking and Group examinations, among others, and urged students to make the most of the opportunity.
The inauguration was attended by University College principal Prof. Ch. Vijaya, IQAC director Prof. Ande Prasad, dean of CDC Dr M. Husenayya, controller of examinations Dr R. Madhumathi, faculty members, non-teaching staff and students.
