Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu responded to V. Vijayasai Reddy's political resignation on Saturday. Speaking to the media, Naidu stated that Vijayasai's resignation is an internal matter of his party. "We understand the situation within that party, but I will not comment further on this matter," he clarified.

Naidu criticised the previous Jagan-led government, accusing it of creating an environment that deterred Singaporean investors and brought global disrepute to Andhra Pradesh. He remarked, "Such scenarios arise when unqualified individuals enter politics."
Reacting to Telangana Congress leader Revanth Reddy's comments that Andhra Pradesh lacks a Hyderabad-like city, Naidu asserted, "I developed Hyderabad for the Telugu community. Regardless of what anyone says, Hi-Tech City was never destroyed, even under subsequent governments. In contrast, here in Andhra Pradesh, the previous government demolished Praja Vedika and played a three-piece game (three capitals) without establishing a proper capital. Flights to Gannavaram Airport also decreased, and Jagan halted subsidies given to airlines. We are now addressing these issues and rebuilding Andhra Pradesh."
Naidu further highlighted efforts to revive industrial development in the state. He mentioned that industrialist Jindal had discussed initiating Kadapa Steel in Davos, and a BPCL refinery worth ₹95,000 crores is set to commence operations in Andhra Pradesh.
