Vemireddy Bhaskar Reddy Appointed Judicial Member of AP GST Appellate Tribunal

Vijayawada: Senior advocate Vemireddy Bhaskar Reddy has been appointed as a judicial member of the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT), Andhra Pradesh. He has been directed to assume charge on January 21, 2026, at the AP State Bench of the GSTAT in Vijayawada.
The appointment is expected to significantly strengthen the functioning of the AP GST Appellate Tribunal. Members of the Bar and other stakeholders expressed confidence that his experience, judicial acumen and deep understanding of tax jurisprudence would contribute to the effective and expeditious disposal of GST disputes in the state.
Bhaskar Reddy has over four decades of legal experience, mainly in direct and indirect taxation. He began legal practice in 1987 and has been in continuous practice before the High Courts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, besides various statutory tribunals.
