Ongole: Two women were killed after a lorry travelling from Vijayawada to Nellore rammed into a stationary lorry on the flyover in Ongole.
The deceased were identified as Chalancharla Venkateswaramma (27), a resident of Jilugu village in Amaravati mandal of Palnadu district, and Bapatla Tirupatamma (24).
Police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to the government hospital for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
