Two Held With IPhones, E-cigarettes At Vizag Airport

Visakhapatnam: The customs officials have seized iPhones and e-cigarettes worth over `66 lakh from two passengers arriving from Malaysia at Visakhapatnam International airport on Thursday.
The suspects, identified as Etukuri Lakshmi Narayana and Koliparthi Jaya Narendra Kumar, were intercepted by customs officers upon their arrival from Kuala Lumpur on flight AK 83. Officials grew suspicious about the contents of their baggage during routine screening procedures.
Upon thorough inspection, customs officials found 51 iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models along with 35 boxes of e-cigarettes (containing 175 e-cigarettes in total) concealed in their luggage.
