TTI Hands Over Forgotten Bag Containing Valuables Worth Rs. 10 Lakh

A Travelling Ticket Inspector (TTI) handed over a forgotten bag containing gold ornaments and other valuables worth `10 lakh to the Railway Protection Force (RPF) for returning it to its owner.

TTI A.K. Naga Sudheer of the Vijayawada division of South Central Railway (SCR) was on duty aboard the Visakhapatnam-Bengaluru Cantonment Express (18510) from Renigunta to Vijayawada when he noticed an unclaimed bag in the B-1 coach.

Sudheer enquired about the passenger who had booked berth No. 58 and found that the passenger had already alighted at Ongole. He secured the bag and handed it over to the RPF for returning it to the owner.

Railway authorities in the Vijayawada division appreciated Sudheer for his prompt action.
