Tirupati: A senior corporate executive on Thursday donated over Rs 1.5 crore to TTD's Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust. The donation demand draft was handed over to the temple Peskar (administrator), Sri Ramakrishna, at the Ranganayakula Mandapam inside the Srivari temple in Tirumala.

"PMS Prasad donated Rs 1.51 crore to TTD's Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust and handed over the demand draft to temple Peskar Sri Ramakrishna at the Ranganayakula Mandapam in the Srivari temple," a press release said.
Established in November 2001, the Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust provides free medical treatment to economically disadvantaged patients suffering from life-threatening illnesses related to the heart, kidneys, brain and cancer, among others.
TTD is the official custodian of the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati, considered the richest Hindu shrine in the world.
