Tirupati: Man kills Wife, Two Daughters; Attempts Suicide
The accused, identified as Giri, is said to have pushed his wife, Hema Kumari, (35), and daughters, Tanushri, (11) and Tejasri, (7), into a well, resulting in their deaths.
TIRUPATI: A man allegedly murdered his wife and two daughters before attempting to take his own life at Maddinayinipalle village in Pakala mandal of Tirupati district on Thursday.
The accused, identified as Giri, is said to have pushed his wife, Hema Kumari, (35), and daughters, Tanushri, (11) and Tejasri, (7), into a well, resulting in their deaths. After committing the crime, Giri reportedly tried to die by suicide.
Local police, led by Circle Inspector Sudarshan Prasad, reached the spot upon receiving information.
Preliminary investigations suggest that a domestic dispute may have led to the triple murder. Giri was found critically injured and has been shifted to a nearby hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
