Three Youth Go Missing at Vizag's Rushikonda Beach

Visakhapatnam: Three students went missing in the sea near Rushikonda, close to the IT Hills on Friday.

According to police, since it was a holiday on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, six students went swimming in the sea and were swept away by strong waves. Among them, S. Suryaprakash (14), Nitish (15), and Prashanth (14), ninth-grade students from Mallaiyapalem in Madhuravada, were caught in choppy waters and went missing in the sea. On receiving information, the Marine Police, PM Palem police, and lifeguard personnel launched a search operation.
