Techie Couple From Vizag Among Those Killed in Simhachalam Mishap

Visakhapatnam: Two techies, Uma Mahesh (30) and his wife Shailaja (26), who were employed at a Hyderabad-based companies, were among those who lost their lives in the Simhachalam wall collapse incident in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. The couple had been working from home in Chandrampalem, Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam. They were among the many devotees who had gathered to witness the rare darshan of the deity in its true form.
Tragedy struck in the early hours of Wednesday when a newly constructed wall collapsed at the historic Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Simhachalam, claiming the lives of eight devotees and injuring several others.
