Briefing the media about the discussions between delegates of the three-day All-India Coordination Committee in Visakhapatnam that concluded on Friday, Mukunda said wherever there are shortcomings in the system, the government must make necessary efforts to correct them.

“Whether it is an issue such as NEET or other systemic problems, these create concerns among young people about their future. It is necessary to understand these concerns and address them,” the RSS joint general secretary said.

He underlined that solutions will not emerge merely through protest or disruption. He said the government at the centre, states and society must work together to improve the system through a positive and constructive approach.

Mukunda said the meeting at Visakhapatnam brought together 326 representatives, including 49 women leaders, from 32 RSS-inspired organisations. RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale attended the deliberations along with senior national functionaries.

He disclosed that more than 21,000 young swayamsevaks participated in the 21-day training camps of the RSS this year. He maintained that over 60 per cent of volunteers attending the daily shakhas are youth.

The meetings of the RSS and its affiliates discussed demographic changes, the growing drug menace among youth, disaster relief efforts during the Assam floods, environmental protection under the Panch Parivartan initiative, and the opportunities and challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence (AI).

When asked about the purpose of Mohan Bhagwat’s foreign visit during the sangh's centenary year, the RSS joint general secretary said one reason is to present a fact-based and positive perspective amid misconceptions and misinformation prevailing around the world regarding Bharat, Hindu society, and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
