Super Six a Super Flop With Partial Implementation: Ambati Rambabu
Rambabu highlighted several unkept promises, including the Thalli Ki Vandanam scheme, where the promised ₹15,000 to mothers have not been given. He pointed out that only partial payments have been under pressure.
Vijayawada: Former minister and YSRC Guntur district president Ambati Rambabu criticised Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, accusing the latter of misleading the public with unfulfilled “Super Six” promises.
Speaking at the YSRC central office in Tadepalli on Friday, Rambabu said Naidu had continued his habitual lies even during his Independence Day speech in Vijayawada, boasting about himself, while falsely blaming the previous YSRC government. He asked Naidu to explain why the Super Six schemes, touted as a hit, have failed to benefit various sections of society.
Rambabu highlighted several unkept promises, including the Thalli Ki Vandanam scheme, where the promised ₹15,000 to mothers have not been given. He pointed out that only partial payments have been under pressure. He underlined that the free gas cylinder scheme, requiring ₹4,000 crore for 1.59 crore connections, has been allocated only ₹895 crore so far. The Annadata Sukhibhava scheme promised ₹26,000 annually to farmers but delivered just ₹7,000 over two years.
“The unemployment allowance of ₹3,000 monthly has not been disbursed to anyone,” the YSRC leader emphasised.
He claimed that even the free bus travel scheme for women is limited in its scope.
