However, family members inside one of the houses heard suspicious noises and raised an alarm. On hearing their shouts, the suspects fled the spot.
Police reached the area after being alerted and began an investigation. They are examining CCTV footage from the locality to identify the suspects and determine whether the same group was involved in the incidents at all four houses.
