Sri Rama Shobhayatra Conducted in Kadapa Town
Anantapur: Sri Rama Shobhayatra was performed in Kadapa town by the Ayodhya Ikya Vedika on Wednesday.
As part of the event, the Kalyanotsavam of Lord Sriram and Goddess Sita took place at the Municipal Grounds. Kadapa MLA R. Madhavi and TDP politburo member R. Sreenivasulu Reddy participated in the programme.
A large number of devotees attended the celestial marriage ceremony, held at the Municipal Grounds. The Shobhayatra later traversed the main roads of Kadapa headquarters, drawing significant crowds.
Two-Day systems engineering summit begins in Amaravati
The first-ever Systems Engineering Summit 2025 will take place on January 23–24 at SRM University-AP in Amaravati. The event is jointly organised by the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), IEEE Systems Council, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Andhra Pradesh, IT Association of Andhra Pradesh (ITAAP), SRM University-AP, and Efftronics Systems Pvt. Ltd.
Ramakrishna Dasari, President Designate of ITAAP and Managing Director of Efftronics, highlighted the summit's aim to promote systems engineering as a strategic tool for addressing global and local challenges. Experts from Boeing, Philips STET, Eaton, and Ansys will participate in the sessions.
Five universities—SRM, VIT, ANU, Vignan, and VR Siddhartha—are set to sign MoUs with INCOSE to integrate systems engineering into their curricula and train faculty. Ramakrishna noted that this initiative is vital for meeting the global demand for systems engineers, offering 100% placement opportunities with competitive packages.
He emphasised that the summit will advance India’s goal of becoming a self-reliant, product-driven economy by fostering collaboration among experts from industries such as aerospace, defence, healthcare, and railways.
