Special Prayers Held in Nellore for Balakrishna's Recovery

Special prayers were offered at the Moolapeta Shiva Temple in Nellore on Thursday for the speedy recovery of actor and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna, who sustained a leg injury while shooting a fight sequence at Kakinada Port.

NUDA chairman Kotamreddy Srinivasulu Reddy performed ‘porlu dandalu’ at the temple and offered special prayers along with Balakrishna's fans and Telugu Desam (TD) leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, Kotamreddy said Balakrishna was undergoing a minor surgical procedure and expressed hope for his early recovery.

“We prayed for the operation to be successful and for him to return to good health soon,” he said.

Kotamreddy also praised Balakrishna's humility and concern for others, recalling that the actor had enquired about his well-being despite recovering from his own injury.

He expressed hope that Balakrishna would soon resume his film and public life and complete the cancer hospital under construction in Vijayawada.
