Special Chief Secretary Reviews Progress Of Prakasam District

Nellore: Special chief secretary (health, medical and family welfare) M.T. Krishna Babu, inspected the Gundlapalli Growth Centre and interacted with fishermen residing around the Gundlakamma Reservoir in Prakasam district on Thursday. He also visited the Primary Health Centre at Maddipadu and enquired about the healthcare services being provided to patients.

Later, Prakasam District Collector A. Tameem Ansaria and Joint Collector R. Gopala Krishna gave a PowerPoint presentation on the district’s progress during a review meeting held in Ongole with officials from all departments.

Krishna Babu discussed the measures being taken to address summer-related challenges, with particular focus on ensuring the supply of quality drinking water. He emphasised the need for effective utilisation of the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme to provide work opportunities for the poor.
