Son Stabs Mother To Death In Property Dispute
Narsamma, who lost her husband some years ago, had a son and a daughter
Kakinada: A horrifying incident in Koyyalagudem in Eluru district, son Jakku Siva (30) stabbed his mother Jakku Narsamma (50) to death over a property dispute. Narsamma died at the GGH here on Monday, while under treatment.
According to Koyyalagudem police, Narsamma, who lost her husband some years ago, had a son and a daughter. Both are married and living in different villages. Son Siva along with his family is living in Karagapadu village in Gopalapuram mandal of East Godavari district.
Narsamma earned a living by selling vegetables on the roadside at Koyyalagudem village. She has two plots of land along with one each building. One building has been given to her son Shiva, who then gave on rent to others. The mother resided in the other building.
Siva was exerting pressure on her to give that house too, to him. But she refused to do this. Previously, he attacked her, fracturing her hand. But she withdrew the case against Siva in order not to harm her son.
On Saturday, Siva came to Koyyalagudem and asked his mother to come to the house. When she was walking to her house, leaving her vegetables on the roadside, Siva along with another man on a bike came from behind and attacked her with a knife.
The Koyyalagudem police that registered a case said, “Siva stabbed his mother severely. She sustained grievous injuries and was admitted to a local hospital and later shifted to the area hospital at Jangareddygudem and later to GGH, Kakinada. She died there.”
