Anvesh Sarapalli dies two days after blaze; Indian mission supports family

Vijayawada: The death toll in the Albany house fire in the United States has risen to two, with Anvesh Sarapalli, who hailed from Tadepalligudem in Andhra Pradesh, succumbing to burn injuries on December 6, according to the Indian mission.

The Consulate General of India in New York expressed deep sorrow and said it is in touch with Sarapalli’s family, who later moved to Kukatpally in Hyderabad.

The fire broke out on December 4. Sahaja Reddy Udumula (24) from Uppal in Hyderabad, who was asleep at the time, died the same day due to severe burns and organ failure.
