VISAKHAPATNAM: Ajit Kumar Saxena, chairman and managing director (additional charge) of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, reviewed the company’s performance and outlined key strategic steps taken during the financial year 2024–25 at the 43rd Annual General Meeting held at the registered office here on Friday.
Addressing the AGM, Saxena highlighted achievements in production and detailed the challenges faced by the company during the year.
Ambica Anand Chatterjee, Director, Ministry of Steel, attended the AGM as the authorised nominee of the President of India.
The meeting was attended by Arun Kanti Bagchi, Director (Projects) and additional charge Director (Personnel); G. V. N. Prasad, Director (Commercial); Salim G. Purushothaman, Director (Operations); Vinay Kumar, Director (Finance); Daya Nidhan Pandey, Government Director; and Prateek Tanwar, Independent Director.
Company secretary Jagadeeshwara Rao Mabagapu convened the AGM, while the Company Affairs Department of RINL coordinated the proceedings.
