Vijayawada: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has laid new stress on his concept of “one family-one entrepreneur.”

Naidu said on Wednesday that he as chief minister had promoted IT during the 90s, and was now promoting the one family-one entrepreneur concept so that talented young professionals would not remain as job seekers but fashion themselves as job providers.

Inaugurating the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) Amaravati in Mangalagiri and simultaneously inaugurating RTIHs in virtual mode at Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Anantapur and Tirupati, the CM praised Ratan Tata as a great contributor to the nation’s economic growth.

Addressing the audience, CM Naidu said this was a momentous occasion to carry forward the legacy of Ratan Tata. “This hub will be a beacon for the youth to turn their innovative ideas into reality. Every family in Andhra Pradesh should nurture an entrepreneur,” he said.

Rejecting the notion that technology eats away jobs, the CM urged young entrepreneurs to seize opportunities in sectors like agriculture, healthcare, defence and education. He also unveiled plans for Amaravati to evolve as a Quantum Computing hub, using real-time data to transform governance and industry.

Naidu stressed a balanced approach to growth: “We aim to create wealth while enhancing welfare. The government is committed to eradicating poverty alongside development, ensuring a wealthy, healthy and happy society.” He highlighted digital governance initiatives and healthcare projects like ‘Sanjeevini,’ developed in collaboration with the Tata group to improve public health standards.

Questioning why people should go to Silicon Valley when the same ecosystem is available in India, Naidu said the gap exists because politicians who run governments are not keen on adopting the available technology. “Young people are highly creative and should be continuously motivated to achieve their goals.”

The CM said opportunities for innovation abound, particularly in agriculture and the health sector. The youth should seize them by thinking globally and acting locally. Naidu assured them that RTIH would be ready to support them in their innovation and startup projects.

Tata Sons Chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran expressed his confidence that the Innovation Hub would become a melting pot of ideas, offering local to international solutions.

Bharat Forge chairman Baba Kalyani said, “By launching the Innovation Hub, Chandrababu has paved the way for developing innovation-led technology, which India urgently needs. We must learn to develop superior products.”

Ministers Lokesh, Nadendla Manohar, TG Bharath and Amara Raja group chairman Galla Jayadev also addressed the gathering. Several noted industrialists attended the event alongside budding startup individuals.
