Rangaraya Medical College a Pride of Kakinada: Pawan
Pawan Kalyan said RMC has been rendering valuable services to poor patients and emphasised that students of the college should grow into responsible citizens.

Kakinada: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Saturday said that Rangaraya Medical College (RMC), established in 1958, has become a pride of Kakinada by producing outstanding medical professionals and emerging as one of the leading medical institutions in the State.
He laid the foundation stone for several development works and inaugurated buildings worth ₹10 crore at the college. Appreciating the efforts of the Rangaraya Medical College Old Students Union in mobilising funds for new infrastructure, he urged alumni of other educational institutions to support the development of their alma maters.
Pawan Kalyan said RMC has been rendering valuable services to poor patients and emphasised that students of the college should grow into responsible citizens. He also called upon doctors to dedicate part of their time to providing medical services in tribal areas. The Deputy Chief Minister inaugurated mobile dental screening vehicles on the occasion.
Earlier in the day, Pawan Kalyan visited the District Police Office and instructed officials not to compromise on law and order. He stressed that police should act firmly against anti-social elements and those attempting to disturb communal harmony. He inspected the command control room, officers’ gym and other facilities.
He also inspected bridges constructed at a cost of ₹3.05 crore over Suddagadda Vagu in Gollaprolu and at the Gollaprolu Housing Colony. Former Minister Kamineni Srinivas, MLAs Patham Nanaji and Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao, Rajya Sabha member Sana Satish, RMC Principal A. Vishnu Vardhan and others were present.
