Quality Must for Local Products to Become Global Brands: CM
Naidu called for developing industrial parks along with logistics to ensure product perfection in the manufacture of various productions, keeping in mind creation of their brand image and ensuring a high export potential in the international market.
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has advised manufacturers to ensure quality to local products so as to also enable them find a space in the international market.
Naidu held a review meeting on product perfection clusters on Monday, which was attended by industries minister T.G. Bharath, Chief Secretary Sai Prasad and senior officials at the Secretariat.
The meeting discussed plans for development of industrial clusters in the Visakha economic region, Amaravati economic region and Tirupati economic region and development of industrial parks and chemical parks under the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA).
The meeting also discussed the setting up of a rare earth mineral park, an integrated East Coast industrial corridor and a container manufacturing cluster along with 175 MSME parks in 2026-27.

He felt the need to provide basic amenities like water, power, cold chain,warehousing linked with logistical support at the upcoming industrial parks.
He felt that if the transport cost was reduced, it would be more beneficial and called for a logistics integration mapping by providing rail, road and port connectivity to the industrial corridors.
Naidu laid emphasis on manufacture of quality products locally in the state and finding local, national and international markets for such products and suggested to the officials to encourage the MSMEs to come up with products at the state-level having international standards.
The CM called for setting up farmer-producer organisations in the industrial clusters so that it would be beneficial to the farmers.
He said the state should avail the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana to develop chemicals manufacturing parks in several parts in the state. Officials, he said, must come up with plans for promotion of industries, basic amenities and tourism in a big way so that it would help setting up of a mega industrial park in every district in the state to provide employment and sources of livelihood to the local youths.
The Chief Minister felt the need for efforts to develop industrial townships at every industrial cluster and underscored the need for Andhra Pradesh to be in the lead position to set up MSMEs under One Family-One Entrepreneur programme.
Naidu said skill development must be activated in the state to suit the current industrial needs and asked starting courses in skill development in the universities in hybrid mode.
