P.V.R. Prashanth Named Team India Manager for Asia Cup T20

The Asia Cup will include teams from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Oman, and the UAE. It’s worth noting that in 1997, former Vijayawada mayor D.V. Subbarao also served as Team India’s administrative manager during the West Indies tour.

 Visakhapatnam: P.V.R. Prashanth, former vice president of the Andhra Cricket Association, has been chosen as the manager of Team India for the upcoming Asia Cup T20 tournament. The matches will be held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from September 9 to 28.

Prashanth is from Bhimavaram and previously played for the old West Godavari cricket team. He is the son of Bhimavaram MLA and PAC chairman Ramanjaneyulu Pulaparthi and the son-in-law of Bheemili MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao.
