Polycet Records 89% Attendance in Andhra Pradesh

Vijayawada: The Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) 2025 recorded an overall attendance of 89 per cent in Andhra Pradesh, with 1,39,749 students appearing out of the 1,57,482 who had registered for the examination on Wednesday.

The POLYCET, conducted for admissions into various polytechnic diploma courses across the state, was held peacefully from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm. Of the total registered candidates, 94,512 were boys and 62,970 were girls. Attendance among boys stood at 90 per cent, while girls recorded 87 per cent.

The highest attendance was observed in Anakapalle and Visakhapatnam districts, where 94 per cent of registered candidates took the test.

The examination was conducted at 430 centres across the state. The preliminary key will be published on May 2 on the official website: https://apsbtet.ap.gov.in. According to a release from the chairman of the Department of Technical Education, efforts are being made to expedite the evaluation process, with the results expected to be announced by May 10.
