Police Grant Conditional Permission for Jagan’s Visit to Bangarupalem on July 9
Police have granted permission for the helipad but limited access at the site to just 30 individuals
Tirupati: The Chittoor district police have granted permission for the visit of YSRC chief and former chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to Bangarupalem on July 9. However, the permission comes with specific conditions aimed at ensuring public order and avoiding inconvenience to local mango farmers.
According to police officials, the Bangarupalem market yard, where the public meeting is scheduled, is relatively small in size. In light of this, they have capped the attendance at 500 people, including Jagan Mohan Reddy and his entourage. The market yard is frequented daily by mango farmers. Police said the restrictions were necessary to avoid disruption to their activities.
Police have granted permission for the helipad but limited access at the site to just 30 individuals. They have also made it clear that no rallies or roadshows would be allowed during the visit. This directive has been formally communicated to the YSRC leaders, police said.
Officials said the precautions were based on past experiences and the need to maintain strict law and order. While the YSRC leaders had reportedly requested permission for a 10,000-strong gathering, police cited space constraints and the daily movement of farmers in the market area as reasons for imposing the limitations.
