People’s Needs Top Priority: CM Chandrababu to Guide Collectors at 7th Conference
Two-day meet in Amaravati to review growth, welfare, governance; collectors and SPs to present best practices
Amaravati: Reiterating that public needs remain the government’s top priority, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will chair the 7th Collectors’ Conference at the State Secretariat on Thursday and Friday.
The two-day conference will see participation from district collectors and senior officials from various departments. The meeting assumes significance as it follows a series of district-wise review meetings recently conducted by the Chief Minister with public representatives.
The conference aims to enhance administrative efficiency and review the progress of development and welfare programmes. On the first day, discussions will focus on key areas including Swarna Andhra Ten Principles, district-wise GSDP growth, centrally sponsored schemes, grievance redressal, grounding of investments, file clearances, and RTGS.
Collectors from select districts will present best practices being implemented in their regions. The Chief Minister is expected to review these initiatives and direct their replication across the state if found effective. He will also assess the implementation status of best practices presented in the 5th and 6th collectors’ meetings.
On the second day, the Chief Minister will review sectors such as Sanjeevani, Summer Action Plan, Super Six, welfare, revenue, income-generating departments, education, skill development, and law and order. District Superintendents of Police will join the sessions post-lunch.
The conference will be held from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM on both days.
