CM Naidu Calls Satya Sai Baba Divine Embodiment Of Our Times

Puttaparthi:Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has described Sri Satya Sai Baba as a divine embodiment of our times, who guided people towards the path of love, service, peace and prosperity.
“Satya Sai Baba’s profound messages — Love All, Serve All and Help Ever, Hurt Never — reflect his vision of universal peace and well-being of all,” the AP Chief Minister emphasised while attending the Sri Satya Sai Baba Centenary Celebrations at the Prashanthi Nilayam on Wednesday.
The state government is celebrating the centenary as a state programme, recognising Satya Sai Baba’s free services to people in the field of education, health and drinking water supply.
During his speech, Naidu recalled Baba asking him to make the state government part of the drinking water scheme started by Satya Sai Baba Trust in villages of Anantapur district. “Baba spent ₹550 crore to provide drinking water in AP, Telangana and Tamil Nadu,” the Naidu pointed out.
He praised Satya Sai Baba for providing free education to more than 60,000 students in 102 institutions across the country. The underlined that the two super specialty hospitals and general hospitals, as well as mobile hospitals, started by Satya Sai Baba are treating more than 3,000 people every day.
Naidu sought blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who took part in the centenary celebrations, for the initiatives taken up by Satya Sai Baba.
Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan said many top dignitaries across the globe, including China and Singapore, have been attracted by the teachings of Satya Sai Baba.
IT minister Nara Lokesh underlined that even though Baba has left physically, he remains present in every devotee and the services that are rendered to people by the Satya Sai institutions.
Other dignitaries present on the occasion included union ministers Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, G. Kishan Reddy and Bhupathi Raju Srinivasa Varma.
