Vijayawada: In a noble gesture, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has extended a helping hand to 42 orphaned children in his Pithapuram constituency.

Through a charitable scheme, he is distributing a monthly assistance of Rs 5,000 to each child, describing them as the "children of God.”

Pawan Kalyan has explained that he allocates his monthly salary to support these children living without parental care. "I believe that God must have a great purpose for them," Kalyan stated, illustrating his commitment to nurturing their potential.

The Deputy CM hopes his assistance would ensure these children have access to quality food, clothing and education.

Jana Sena leaders said the cash distributions were done through members of the Jana Sena, ensuring that the money reached the children’s homes directly. At the start of the initiative, JS leaders went to the care-homes of the children in Pithapuram, interacted with them and offered aid.
