Pawan Kalyan Comes to Rescue of Men Held Captive in Myanmar
Pawan Kalyan referred the matter to the Ministry of External Affairs, seeking the rescue of those held captive by human trafficking gangs
VIJAYAWADA: Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan has reacted promptly to a woman’s request to rescue her two sons held captive by human trafficking gangs abroad in the border areas of Myanmar.
On Thursday, Gandaboyina Suryakumari, hailing from Vizianagaram, submitted a petition to the Deputy CM, saying some agents had cheated her children on the pretext of providing well-paying jobs abroad. But, along with six other persons, they are being held captive and forced to do illegal jobs.
Responding to this, Pawan Kalyan referred the matter to the Ministry of External Affairs, seeking the rescue of those held captive by human trafficking gangs.
The ministry has responded positively to this matter, assuring that those stranded abroad will be rescued.
