KURNOOL: In view of the increasing pilgrim influx at the Srisailam temple following the full storage of the Srisailam reservoir and the opening of the dam gates, temple authorities have decided to temporarily suspend the free Sparsha Darshan facility.

The temple has announced that free Sparsha Darshan, which is usually provided during the afternoon hours from Tuesday to Friday, will not be available from July 15 (Tuesday) to July 18 (Friday). The suspension is aimed at managing the crowd efficiently and ensuring a smooth darshan experience for all devotees.

During this period, all devotees in the Sarva Darshan queues will be allowed only Alankara Darshan, while Sparsha Darshan will remain suspended. Officials have stated that this temporary measure has been taken purely in consideration of the current high pilgrim turnout and to maintain orderly temple operations throughout the week.

The temple authorities informed that the decision may be reviewed based on the crowd situation in the coming days.
