Chittoor: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday said that there were no question paper leaks during his regime and no corruption in DSC-2025 teacher recruitment. He slammed the YSRCP for unnecessarily maligning the recruitment process even after one year has passed.

"People who got jobs in the DSC-2025 examination managed to do so with their sheer hard work. There was no corruption in the notification and also no paper (question) leak. That is my track record," the CM said, while addressing a public meeting at Kuppam.
He further said that the recruited teachers have rejected the allegations and he referred to their demonstrations at Kondareddy Buruju in Kurnool, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam against the YSRCP over the issue. If YSRCP legislators attend the Assembly sessions, the government would show the proof, the CM said.
According to Naidu, there was devastation in the southern state between 2019 and 2024. He alleged that the Tirupati laddu (consecrated sweet) was adulterated during the previous YSRCP regime. "They had (YSRCP govt) called Amaravati a graveyard, but now they are unable to tolerate its development," he said, calling on people to trounce YSRCP in the forthcoming local bodies polls. Reflecting on Kuppam constituency, the CM said necessary plans are being made to turn it into a model constituency.
Through the 'Handri-Neeva' canal, he said water was brought to Kuppam and 133 ponds were filled. The government is also planning to build reservoirs in Yamiganipalli and Manapalli regions, and also link 550 minor irrigation tanks using lift irrigation and pipelines, he added.
The CM underlined that severe drought-like conditions are prevailing in the state due to El Nino. Considering low water levels in reservoirs, he observed that available water should be utilised carefully.
Earlier, Naidu participated in multiple development programmes in Kuppam. He laid the foundation for the local RDO and ASP offices and other projects being built in Kuppam at a cost of Rs 10 crore.
He inaugurated a waste treatment plant and a material recovery centre built for Rs 3.3 crore and others, including laying the foundation for development works worth Rs 38 crore in Kuppam municipality. Likewise, Naidu inaugurated 15 MW PM-KUSUM projects for agriculture, among other activities.
"When I last visited (Kuppam) two months ago, we laid the foundation for projects worth Rs 7,939 crore. Now, we laid the foundation for government works worth Rs 38 crore in Kuppam Municipality," he said, adding that in total, the foundation was laid for projects worth Rs 289 crore today.
From Monday, the Dadar-Puducherry train will halt at Kuppam Railway Station, the CM said, noting that national highways will link the town to Bengaluru, Chennai and other places. The CM said he had requested the Railway Minister for a broad gauge line to connect Kuppam with Chittoor, promising to extend this connectivity to Krishnapatnam Port for transporting wares made in Kuppam. "Very soon, we will set up an airport in Kuppam. Overall, we will transform this constituency into SwarnaKuppam (golden Kuppam)," he said, among other initiatives, including "eradicating poverty."
